GOAL OF THE EVENT

Formula Student has always been an educational event with a motorsport theme. Hundreds of teams all around the world perform at their best in car development, project management, and interdisciplinary fields that are essential to build a single-seater formula racecar and successfully participating in an engineering design competition.

Even though the accomplishment and recognition of all their work are normally delivered during the competitions, a constant demand for new inputs and bits of advice on racecar design from leading experts also exists. Considering this interest, Uni-Inno Ltd. in cooperation with the Széchenyi István University is organizing a unique symposium with highly recognized speakers from motorsport. The event will include keynote lectures, seminars, workshops, and opportunities for face-to-face discussions.

DATA USAGE/PROTECTION

All platforms of Formula Student Symposium (here onwards referred to as “event”) conform to the data protection policies defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By registering for the event, participants hereby give positive consent for their personal data included in their application form to be processed exclusively by Széchenyi István University for the purposes of the FS Symposium according to the provisions of the statutory instruments.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE

Recording, reproduction, and distribution of the sessions and their contents is strictly prohibited. Organizers of FS Symposium 2026 will take legal action against copyright infringements.

CONSENT TO PHOTOGRAPHY/ VIDEOGRAPHY 

There might be some photos and videos taken showing you at the event. Therefore, by signing up to the event, all attendees consent to being present in photographs and videos covering the event and use of these materials on or offline by the organizing committee of the event.

PAYMENT

Payment is accepted through PayPal as well as credit card purchases on the TicketNinja registration page. Refunds are not available. Substitutions of team members are allowed. Registration is only final once the total sum has been transferred. Billing data cannot be changed after registration!

HARASSMENT STATEMENT

Be respectful. Harassment and abuse are never tolerated. If you are in a situation that makes you uncomfortable at the event, if the event itself is creating an unsafe or inappropriate environment, or if interacting with an official or event organizer makes you uncomfortable, please report it to the event manager, Lilla Lugosi at lugosi.lilla##kukac##ga.sze.hu.

Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive verbal or written comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, social class, economic status, veteran status, sexual images, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. If what you are doing is making someone feel uncomfortable, that counts as harassment and is enough reason to stop doing it.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION

All schedule changes and event modifications before the event will be announced on the event's Instagram and LinkedIn page, updated handbook, and event website, while changes during the event will be announced on our Instagram page or via our speaker onsite.
