Formula Student has always been an educational event with a motorsport theme. Hundreds of teams worldwide perform at their best in vehicle development, project management, and interdisciplinary fields essential to build a single-seater formula race car and successfully participating in an engineering design competition.

Even though the accomplishment and recognition of all their work are usually delivered during the competitions, a constant demand for new inputs and bits of advice on race car design from leading experts also exists. Considering this interest, Széchenyi István University has been organizing the Formula Student Symposium for the past several years, featuring highly recognized speakers from the motorsport and automotive industries. The event includes expert lectures, technical sessions, a panel discussion on first-hand professional stories and opportunities for face-to-face discussions.
