Advanced Automotive and Motorsport Technologies
Research, Innovation and Future Directions
We warmly invite researchers, academics, PhD students, industry professionals, and early-career engineers to participate in an international scientific conference organized within the framework of the Formula Student Symposium, dedicated to current research, technological innovations, and future directions in automotive and motorsport engineering.
The aim of the conference is to provide a high-quality scientific forum for the presentation and discussion of recent research results in vehicle engineering and related disciplines, closely aligned with the technical and educational domains represented at the Formula Student Symposium. The event seeks to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration between academia and industry, with a particular emphasis on research contributions suitable for scientific dissemination and publication.
The conference focuses on education, automotive research and development, and advanced automotive and motorsport technologies, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the Formula Student community. Key thematic areas include the application of artificial intelligence in automotive engineering, the development of autonomous vehicle systems, electric powertrains and energy storage technologies, and engineering innovations in motorsport. In addition, the conference addresses materials and manufacturing technologies, vehicle diagnostics and testing methods, as well as scientific approaches to automotive and motorsport management and race operations.
The scientific program will include invited plenary lectures, peer-reviewed thematic sessions, and panel discussions, ensuring a balanced representation of academic and industrial perspectives. Dedicated networking opportunities within the Formula Student Symposium environment will support the establishment of new research collaborations, joint projects, and future publications.
Authors are invited to submit research papers related to the conference themes. Selected contributions presented at the conference will be eligible for publication in internationally recognized, open-access scientific journals or conference proceedings, with the intention of providing Q2–Q3-level publication opportunities, subject to the respective review processes.
The conference is open to national and international participants whose research, development, or applied engineering activities contribute to the scientific advancement of automotive and motorsport technologies, and who wish to engage with the broader Formula Student academic and professional community.
